also known as: NS2330, Triple monoamine reuptake inhibitor
Half-life: ~17 days (accumulates with daily dosing)
Tesofensine is a triple monoamine reuptake inhibitor (norepinephrine, dopamine, serotonin) originally developed for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Phase 2 obesity trials showed remarkable weight loss of 10–14% over 24 weeks — surpassing any approved agent at the time. It is not a peptide per se but is commonly included in peptide clinic protocols.
Mechanism of Action
Inhibits reuptake of norepinephrine (appetite suppression, energy expenditure), dopamine (reward, motivation, satiety), and serotonin (mood, satiety), producing powerful appetite suppression and increased basal metabolic rate.
GLP-1 agonist + Tesofensine combines gut-hormone appetite suppression with CNS appetite suppression — very effective but requires careful monitoring.
None listed.
Tesofensine suppresses appetite via CNS; AOD9604 mobilizes fat via β3-adrenergic pathway — add during Tesofensine cycles.
Storage
Store at room temperature.
