also known as: Advanced Obesity Drug 9604, GH fragment 177-191 modified
Half-life: ~30 minutes
AOD9604 is a modified fragment of human growth hormone (HGH) consisting of amino acids 177-191 with an added tyrosine at the N-terminus. It was designed to retain the fat-metabolizing properties of GH without stimulating IGF-1 production or causing glucose intolerance.
Mechanism of Action
Stimulates lipolysis and inhibits lipogenesis via β3-adrenergic pathways — similar to HGH but without binding the GH receptor or raising IGF-1. Does not affect blood glucose or cell proliferation.
Phase IIb trials showed modest but significant fat loss vs placebo. Phase III trials were not pursued commercially but safety data is strong.
Both target fat mobilization via GH-like mechanisms; can be dosed together for additive lipolytic effect.
CJC-1295 raises GH pulse; AOD9604 directs the lipolytic benefit without IGF-1 downsides.
Ipamorelin adds GH secretion; AOD9604 provides targeted fat loss independent of GH receptor.
GLP-1 agonist suppresses appetite; AOD9604 independently stimulates fat burning.
None listed.
Alternate cycles: AOD9604 for active fat loss, 5-Amino-1MQ to maintain metabolic rate during breaks.
Storage
Refrigerate reconstituted peptide. Stable for 30 days at 2–8°C (36–46°F).
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, typically 2 mL for a 5 mg vial.
