also known as: Cibinetide, Helix B surface peptide
Half-life: ~3–4 hours
ARA-290 is a non-erythropoietic peptide derived from the helix B surface of erythropoietin (EPO). It selectively activates the innate repair receptor (IRR) to provide neuroprotection and tissue repair without the blood-thickening effects of EPO itself.
Mechanism of Action
Activates the β-common/innate repair receptor heterodimer, triggering tissue-protective pathways including reduced apoptosis, decreased inflammation, and promoted nerve regeneration — independent of the EPO receptor.
Phase II trial in sarcoidosis-associated small fiber neuropathy showed significant pain reduction (NCT01919346). Phase II in Type 2 diabetes neuropathy also positive.
BPC-157 promotes systemic tissue healing; ARA-290 specifically addresses nerve repair and pain — highly complementary.
TB-500 upregulates actin for tissue repair; ARA-290 provides neuroprotection alongside.
KPV provides gut/inflammatory anti-inflammatory action; ARA-290 provides neural anti-inflammatory action.

Stack with Wolverine stack during active injury, continue ARA-290 into recovery phase for nerve healing.
Storage
Refrigerate at 2–8°C (36–46°F).
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with sterile saline or bacteriostatic water.
