also known as: Thymosin Beta-4, Tβ4
Half-life: ~15–30 minutes in plasma; tissue effects sustained much longer
TB-500 is a synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), the most abundant peptide regulator of actin polymerization in virtually all mammalian cells. It is one of the most potent healing peptides, promoting cell migration, angiogenesis, anti-inflammatory effects, and regeneration of heart, skin, cornea, and musculoskeletal tissue.
Mechanism of Action
Binds G-actin (monomeric actin) to regulate actin polymerization and cell motility. Activates multiple signaling pathways including PI3K/Akt for anti-apoptosis, ILK for angiogenesis, and NF-κB inhibition for anti-inflammation. Its N-terminal tetrapeptide (LKKTET) may be the key active motif.
Ho et al. showed TB-500 promotes cardiac repair after MI in animal models. Multiple studies confirm accelerated tendon and muscle healing in rodent models.
The "Wolverine Stack" — BPC-157 drives angiogenesis and early inflammation resolution; TB-500 drives cell migration and actin-based repair. Synergy is documented in animal models.
GHK-Cu provides collagen remodeling alongside TB-500's cell motility — comprehensive connective tissue repair.
IGF-LR3 adds muscle-specific anabolic signaling on top of TB-500's structural repair.
TB-500 is already in the Wolverine Stack blend.
Use TB-500 for musculoskeletal healing, then ARA-290 for nerve component repair after the acute healing phase.
Storage
Refrigerate at 2–8°C (36–46°F). Lyophilized stable at room temperature.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water; handle gently to avoid foaming.
