also known as: Pegylated Mechano Growth Factor, PEGylated IGF-1 Ec splice variant
Half-life: ~5–7 days (pegylation extends from <30 min)
PEG MGF is a pegylated (polyethylene glycol-modified) form of Mechano Growth Factor (MGF), an IGF-1 splice variant produced by muscles in response to mechanical stretch and damage. Pegylation extends its half-life from minutes to days, allowing systemic delivery and sustained muscle satellite cell activation.
Mechanism of Action
MGF activates muscle satellite cells (muscle stem cells) through a distinct receptor pathway from IGF-1 and promotes their proliferation and differentiation into new muscle fibers. Unlike standard IGF-1, MGF specifically responds to muscle damage signals.
PEG-MGF activates satellite cells post-workout; IGF-LR3 provides systemic IGF-1 to drive protein synthesis in newly activated cells — extremely powerful hypertrophy stack.
Follistatin removes myostatin inhibition while PEG-MGF actively recruits satellite cells — a complete myostatin-bypass + satellite-cell-activation protocol.
BPC-157 accelerates connective tissue healing between PEG-MGF hypertrophy cycles.
MGF and PEG-MGF are the same molecule — PEG-MGF is the long-acting version, do not combine.
Use local MGF injections for targeted site-specific growth while using PEG-MGF for systemic satellite cell activation.
