also known as: CJC-1295 DAC, CJC-1295 with Drug Affinity Complex
Half-life: ~8 days
CJC-1295 with Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) is a long-acting GHRH analog that covalently binds albumin in the bloodstream, extending its half-life to ~8 days. Unlike CJC-1295 No DAC, it provides continuous (non-pulsatile) GH elevation rather than discrete pulses.
Mechanism of Action
The DAC lysine modification reacts with plasma albumin lysine residues, creating a depot that slowly releases CJC-1295. This produces sustained GHRH receptor activation and tonic (rather than pulsatile) GH secretion.
Ipamorelin adds the ghrelin-receptor component; the pulsatile aspect helps even with the tonic CJC-DAC baseline.
Both provide sustained GH elevation — combine carefully, monitoring for excess water retention.
Two versions of the same GHRH analog — do not combine.
Sermorelin is a shorter GHRH analog — redundant.
Another GHRH analog — redundant combination.
Cycle between the convenient once-weekly CJC-DAC and the more physiologic CJC No DAC/Ipa blend.
Storage
Refrigerate at 2–8°C (36–46°F) after reconstitution.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water; handle gently to avoid foaming.
